Sunday

“It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others.”

Shopping for Operation Christmas Child

“My favorite items in my shoebox were school supplies. They were really important to me because it meant I could go to school.”–Luis, Panama

This is just one statement that reminds me how important packing “shoeboxes” really is!

Take your shoebox gift to a local drop-off location during National Collection Week.  Nearly 5,000 drop-off locations across the country will collect shoebox giving November 18-25. 2019.  FBC, Kentwood will again serve as a collection site for those of you who wish to bring your boxes to us.  We will be glad to ship them on for you.

Please continue to pray for teachers, students, and staff as schools have recently started or will do so in the near future.  Pray for Christians to “let their light shine” for others to see!

I hope you have chosen to attend church today if you are able to do so.  If not, many of our local churches broadcast live each week.  “Kentwood First Baptist Church” goes live on Facebook at 10:30 each Sunday.
