”All need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift.

They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ.”

~Romans 3:24 NCV~

Yesterday, as we were traveling, I told David I used “One Day at a Time” as sung by Lynda Randal on The Prayer Link.  He said, “That’s a good one.”  Later, his infusion nurse, Susan, said “one day at a time”.  David immediately made the connection.  I had to share this site with her so she would know that was already on our minds.  Of all of the songs and comments, we came us with the same one on the same day.  I think any day is a good day to take “one day at a time”!

Read the Bible

  • Isaiah 65
  • Psalm 119: 25-32
  • I John 4

Buddy Morris‘ scan came back clear.  He begins another round of chemo today.  I think he looked very good in church Sunday.  Keep praying for him.

Today is Take Your Bible to School Day!

The associational Senior Adult Revival will be at Little Chappapeela Baptist Church today.

A number of “shoeboxes” will be packed Friday afternoon.  Please take time to pray for each child who will receive a box this year.  FBC, Kentwood will again be a collection site for “shoeboxes”.  Mark the third week of November on your calendar.  You can go to the Operation Christmas Child website to see the locations nearest you and to learn the hours shoeboxes will be collected at each site.

Amber Prine Ragan got to ring the bell at M.D. Anderson yesterday to signal the end of this round of treatment.

Thank-you for praying for Amber and her family, but please continue to pray for her.  They have learned to take “One Day at a Time”!

In honor of Amber, today’s hymn is “God is So Good”.

Please pray for our country.  Our “once great” country needs to be drawn closer to God again.  Every prayer counts!
