The LA Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe will soon be making stops in our area to pick up food supplies for their individual cottages. They will be picking up at churches in our area on Monday, September 18th. Below is a list of items they need the most.
Cooking Oil/Crisco Shortening
Flavoring (Lemon, Vanilla, Almond)
Laundry Detergent (HE Liquid)
Onion Soup Mix
Pam Cooking Spray
Pickles and Relish
Rice (Instant and Boxed Dinners)
At FBC, Kentwood, your items can be left under the stairwell at the office entrance to the church. Thank-you for helping to feed these children.
Don’t forget your OCC shoebox items. FBC, Kentwood will be packing 350 shoeboxes and serving as a collection center in November.
