Keep your lives free from the love of money

and be content with what you have,

because God has said,

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.

What can mere mortals do to me?”

~Hebrews 13:5-6~

Gloria Gill was checked for injuries and fared pretty well.  Thank God for her latest report.

Thursday – Friends please say a prayer for me today. I took a bad fall in the bathroom. My knee and back are both hurt. Thanks to Tristan for getting me up and in the bed. I will go to doctor if they get any worse but with your prayers I hope to avoid going. Thanks friends.

Friday – I am thankful for the prayers and love that you my friends sent for me. I’ve been checked out and thank the Lord, no broken bones. A twisted knee, pulled muscles, and very soar. Tristan and Pete are taking very good care of me. Thank each of you
Bert Newton of Roseland needed four by-passes yesterday.  Thankfully, all went well during surgery.  Pray for him as he recovers.
Mr. John Phillips’ double knee replacement went well.  He was standing yesterday and will soon begin rehab.  It will be wonderful to see him walking again.  I’m so thankful to know he will be walking again and soon.
East Fork Baptist Church is sending a mission team to Guatemala to teach VBS and do construction.  They will be gone 8 days.  Pray for God to use them in powerful ways. Thanks to those going and those who are sending.
Read the Bible –  Nehemiah 4-6 & Psalm 49.
