Friday

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.

Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.

Pray for Margie Williams who has pneumonia and some other tests Tuesday.

Joanne Seymour, a former student, had been diagnosed with colon cancer.  Please pray for Joanne.

Please remember Bettye Fussell and her family in your daily prayers.  She is seeing her oncologist in McComb regularly.

Thanks for praying for Barbara Hutchinson to find a wheelchair.  She now has two to choose from today and some other equipment options too.

There is still no obituary for Shira Easley.  I understand there is family out-of-town they are waiting for.  I will post an obituary when one is available.

Read the Bible in 2017 – Deut. 30-31 and Psalm 63

Friday Morning Bible Study is completing John today and beginning the introduction to a brief study of Ezekiel 4-8 at the request of Mrs. Bessie Hayden.  Do you have a request for out next study?

Two Rivers WMU will meet Monday at FBC, Greensburg to learn about the 2017 Annie Armstrong Offering and hear from someone who benefits from that offering in our area.  We will meet Monday at 10:00 and conclude with a potluck meal.  Everyone is invited to attend and bring a friend.  You do not have to be a member of an active WMU to attend.  All you need is a love of missions.

Don’t forget to bring new or used PAPERBACK Bibles to the meeting Monday or to FBC, Kentwood when you have a chance.  There are collection boxes under the stairwell at the office entrance and under the stairwell to the balcony.  They will be donated to inmates at the Tangipahoa Parish Jail.

“I know that your love will last for all time,

that your faithfulness is as permanent as the sky.
