The meeting in honor of 125 days of WMU was nice yesterday. I met and heard of many ladies named “Alford”. I felt right at home. Lots of Alford ladies have felt the importance of WMU.
Thankfulness Day 10 – “Kinship”
Yesterday, I was in a church where I met or heard of many other ladies named “Alford”. It was good to know we all had something in common that is much more important than a married name. We serve(d) the same God and work(ed) through WMU to help tell others about him. I did some computer work when I got home which proved many of these Alford men were cousins. I felt right at home among strangers. Not only are we Alford’s, but we are Christian women dedicated to serving Him.

Revival is scheduled for FBC,K beginning this morning and continuing through Wednesday. This morning’s service will be followed by “dinner on the grounds”.
