“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

~2 Timothy 1:7, ESV~

Nancy Carruth received a good report yesterday.  She will go back in three months for a check-up to assure everyone that all is still okay.  Thanks for praying for this sweet lady.

Caleb Estay spent the night in the hospital for observation because he was complaining of neck pain.  If a problem is detected, pray the doctors will be able to quickly plan a treatment for him.

Jan Yarborough is having eye surgery today.  Pray all goes well for her.

Ora Lee Wilson’s hand surgery is also today.  Pray all goes well for her too.

Carol New will have a surgery for a device that will hopefully help with the pain in her legs and feet.  Pray for an effective surgery.

J.D. Smith is in North Oaks for tests.  He’s in room 4408.  Give him a call or stick your head in his door.

Mrs. Gaylon (Ruth) Cutrer is scheduled for surgery June 12th.  Pray for her as she prepares for this day.

Terri Garner will also be having some surgery.  Add her name to your prayer list too.

Mrs. Angie Redmond has been moved to the St. Helena Nursing Home in Greensburg.  Pray she soon is pain-free from her injuries from the most recent fall.

Mrs. Ruby Luke is still in rehab, but hoping to be home soon.  Pray for her as she continues to improvel.

Russ Zachary (from Kirby Varnado via Peggy Alford)

Kirby Varnado just called and asked me to place his son-in-law’s name on the prayer list.  His name is Russ Zachery and he is scheduled to have surgery for a tumor on the brain, tomorrow morning at West Jefferson hospital.  Thanks for helping with this.

Melanie Wales and boys were in an accident yesterday after school.  Thank God their injuries were not serious.

Robbie Lynn Kirby is waiting for some test results.  Pray with her that the results will be good.
