Tuesday Addition

All the procedures yesterday lead to a hard day for Marsha Bankston and a long day for her family.  Let’s pray for the rest of the week to be better for them.

Thanks to members of New Zion Baptist Church for inviting us to their lunch today.  Lunch was good.  We got to hear a the beautiful voice of  Lori Frazier Foster and hope to hear her again one day.  God richly blessed her with the ability to sing!

Please be reminded of the gathering at the cabin Thursday evening at 6:30.  James Rimes will lead the devotional and bring his guitar to sing for/with us.  “Ya’ll come!”

Another reminder is the quarterly WMU meeting at New Zion Friday morning at 10:00.  Bring a covered dish and join us.  Pray for us if you cannot be there.

The plans for Sunday evening at FBC, Kentwood have changed.  Be on the alert for a card from the church in the next day or two.

Tuesday

Monday Addition

Mr. Adrian Phillips gave me permission to tell you about his new, great grandson, Adrian, who was born about midnight at University Hospital in Jackson, MS.  The baby had to be delivered early, but seems okay.  He will be hospitalized for about eight weeks until he can gain some weight.  Angela Bridges is having problems with her blood pressure.  Pray for the doctors to give the right tests so medicine and procedures can be done to make Angela healthy again.  Little Adrian had a great-grandmother who attends FBC, Kentwood.  That’s our very own special lady, Mrs. Hazel Smith.  Pray for Colton Strickland as he has a premature baby with a mother who is having some issues right now.  Your prayers will be appreciated.

A happy note about little Jadon.  He is walking!  God continues to bless his little life and his special family.  Thank God for Jadon’s progress.  I wonder what news Jadon will have for us next . . . .

The cabin will be the location of our monthly gathering to fellowship and hear from James Rimes.  He always has such good devotionals.  He’s also bringing his guitar.  Join us at 6:30.  We would love to have you.
