“When I refused to confess my sin, I was weak and miserable, and I groaned all day long .…
My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat.
Finally I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them .…
And you forgave me!
All my guilt is gone.”
Psalm 32: 3-5 (NLT)
Mr. Kenneth Felker said “Miss” Grace Helen is hospitalized in Greensburg. She has be hospitalized over and over. Pray she will get better.

Ladd Turner’s last two updates on Dan Turner
Father God, thank you for your Word. Thank you for lighting the way for me, Lord. Father, I pray that others would seek your face and know you as I have come to know you. Father, thank you for this day. Thank you for such a wonderful visit with Dan Turner yesterday. Lord, thank you for gifting Dan with a strong will. Thank you for his desire to rise up! Father, I pray that you continue to heal Dan. The distance he has come in a short amount of time is a testament to your love and healing power. You are the master physician! Father, I pray that you would invigorate Dan with your physical strength. Father God, I love and praise you for all that you have done and are yet to do. I pray these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen!!
Father God, thank you for your Son, Jesus. Lord Jesus, thank you for your sacrifice so that your wounds would heal us from our sin. Father God, thank you for the closeness that we can have with you because of Jesus. Lord, thank you for the good visits with Dan Turner. Thank you for his determination and desire to overcome. Lord, please continue to heal him as you have so graciously done already. Lord, thank you for all of Dan’s doctors and nurses and for the gift of healing that you’ve given all of them. Lord, I praise you! It’s in the precious name of Jesus that I pray. Amen!!

I have several updates to add tonight rather than wait until tomorrow.
Mike Moore, husband of a long time friend Robin Wilson Moore, had surgery a year ago for cancer behind one eye. He had a check-up to see if the cancer had spread. There is no indication Mike has cancer now. Join with the family in thanking God for the good year Mike has had and the prospect for more good years.
East Fork Baptist Church will be selling lunches on the 13th to help the youth with camp funds for the summer. If you would like to purchase some for $7.00 each, please call a member of the church.
Dan Turner is making some good progress. Getting into a regular room and having more freedom with visitors had to be a bonus after almost four weeks in ICU. Keep praying for Dan and for his family.
Jadon had his surgery a year ago to remove half his brain and to eliminate the numerous seizures he was having every day. The family will have a celebration at FBC, Amite next Thursday, Jan. 10th at 5:30. I’ll post more details later for those who are interested in celebrating with Jadon and his family.
Mr. Philip Harrell had surgery yesterday for a pacemaker and got back home this afternoon about 5:30. The surgery went well. Thank God for this good report.
