Revelation 1:7

Prayer Focus for the Day

Last week, when we visited Dorothy Wall at North Oaks, I again realized how many patients are in hospitals. If you enter the right door, sometimes you still have to walk a long way to get to the correct room. Dorothy was in the last room at the end a hallway. North Oaks is a large hospital. Think of all the patients in all the rooms we walked past. Think of all the other halls of patients there. Think of all the other large hospitals we have in a two hour radius of where we live.. Then, think of all the patients in all of those hospitals room. That’s who we are praying for today.

Health Concerns

Please pray for Andy Taylor who is hospitalized in McComb following surgery last Friday. He has been in room 2207. Yesterday, Betty’s prayer request was that we pray Andy regains his strength. (By the way, they no longer have a house phone, so be sure you have a cell number for one of them. I won’t post personal numbers here.)

Please continue to pray for Dorothy Wall, who is now in Physical Therapy at Hood Memorial. She seems to be making progress. Thank God for that.

We also have a number of homebound people who could use our prayers. The daily high temperatures have been hard on some of them.

I have unspoken requests for a S.S. classmate and for a friend. Be sure to add your own unspoken requests.

Anna Maria Rombach

Anna Maria Rombach, our loving, devoted daughter, took her final flight on Saturday, August 24, 2024, to her Heavenly Home! She passed peacefully in her sleep at home. She is safe in the comforting arms of Jesus, free from all pain, dancing on the streets of gold, but most importantly, bowing ever so humbly at the beautiful feet of Jesus her Lord and Savior.
