So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord,

continue to live your lives in him,

rooted and built up in him,

strengthened in the faith as you were taught,

and overflowing with thankfulness.

Monday Night

I’m sorry it took so long to get back to my computer.  It was another busy day!  I did want to share these updates for those of you who are up late.

  • Andy Taylor did well.  He has to do nothing for a few days.  Keep praying for him to limit his activity and to heal.
  • Theople Hurst’s son, Randal, had five by-passes this morning.  All went well.  He will have about a week in the hospital before he can go home.  Pray he continues to do well.
  • Theople and Bobbie’s sister, Patsy, will have a long recovery too.  A lower lobe of her lungs was successfully removed today.
  • Bobby Simpson‘s outpatient surgery will be tomorrow at North Oaks.
  • Margaret Oliver’s surgery will be in Baton Rouge.
  • Firma Kay Schneeweiss continues to have kidney stone problems.  Please keep her in your prayers.

Monday

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD.

“Though your sins are like scarlet,

they shall be as white as snow;

though they are red as crimson,

they shall be like wool.

~Isaiah 1:18~

Immediately, my thoughts are “singing” “Whiter than Snow”.

It’s been a long time since I have thought of that hymn,

but the idea behind it is always so amazing.

I hope some of you ladies are up (not this early thought) and making plans to attend the associational WMU meeting in Montpelier this morning.  I’m looking forward to hearing the speaker tell of missions.

Contacting me: Someone has informed me they were sending me a message thought the “Contact” portion at the top of The Prayer Link page.  I didn’t get their message.  If you need to contact me and this doesn’t work for you, please send me an email or call me at home.  Thanks!  In the meantime, I will be working with my tech support.

Just looking at the skyline pictures each day reminds me of how differently many people live than the country life I live in this rural area.  Each city is a whole new world with so many lost people.  Let’s be reminded of our mission – Matthew 28: 19-20.  It doesn’t matter where we choose to “go and tell” as long as it is where He wants us to be.

Friday Morning Bible Study – We’ll complete John 4 this morning.  Come get your study guides for John 5.
