Whatever you do,

work at it with all your heart,

as working for the Lord,

not for human masters.

~Colossians 3:23~

The youth did a very good job of leading worship yesterday at FBC, Kentwood.  We had a full house.  The most important thing is that two people made professions of faith.

Wednesday

Look at the birds of the air;

they do not sow or reap or store away in barns,

and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.

Are you not much more valuable than they?

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

~Matthew 6:26-27~

As we think about the hurricane, let’s also remember other who have or will soon face a hurricane.  In addition, our country has numerous fires burning out of control in the western states.  To top that off, we have political issues within our country and with other countries.  I want to put my hymn of the day here today.
