Friday – Snow Day!
I’ve been trying to write this since 11:30 last night, but the weather didn’t cooperate.
I think this is a good verse to practice more and more each year:
“The King will reply,
‘Truly I tell you,
whatever you did for one of the least
of these brothers and sisters of mine,
you did for me.’
~Matthew 25:40~
Last night, I was going to tell you we were not going to have Bible study this morning. I think when you took one look of the white environment we all live in today, you were able to make that decision for yourself.

I also learned that Mrs. Evelyn Bridges passed away this morning. She has been at the Greensburg Nursing Home for a few months.
Two deaths in one church family in one morning. Two more sweet Kentwood ladies now in heaven and healed of their health issues. What a sweet thought!
Ora Lee Wilson will be in charge of food for the services for both families. Please call her and volunteer to prepare something for each family.

June 06, 1956 – December 04, 2014
Richard Navarra, 58, of Maurepas, passed away on December 4, 2014, as a result of liver cancer. His family and close friends were by his side when he drifted off to be with the Lord. Richard was born on June 6, 1956, to Dominick and Margaret Navarra of Amite. He married the love of his life, Lou Cook, on July 3, 1981. They have one daughter, Brittany; son-in-law, Clay Lauzervich and a beautiful granddaughter, Sidney Lynn Lauzervich; brother, Roger Navarra; niece, Charlotte Phillips; nephew, Dominick Navarra, and other relatives. Richard was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He took great pride and joy in his family and had an enormous love for people. He never met a stranger and if he was your friend, he was your friend for life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, making his famous beef jerky, and hanging out at Hi-Ho in the mornings with a great group of friends before work. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dominick and Margaret Navarra and sister, Ramona Navarra.
