Read the Bible

  • Joshua 11-12
  • Eccl. 5:1-9
  • John 9  (As you are reading these passages from John, it might be a good time to join our Friday Morning Bible Study as we work our way through John in great detail.  I think you will surely learn something new about each chapter, even if you have just read the chapters.)

Happy, Glorious Easter

Today represents the day God’s plan for our salvation was finalized! It’s not the day Jesus was born in Bethlehem, the day John the Baptist baptized Jesus, or the day He was crucified on a cross, but the day He overcame death and arose! I hope you know this and have trusted your eternity to Him. If you have, you have a wonderful home prepared and waiting for you when your life on earth is over. You will live in the presence of Jesus forever. If not, your eternity will be eternal punishment. Eternity is a long time! Today is a celebration of what Jesus did and what you have had the opportunity to do to choose your eternity. If you haven’t done so, this is a great day to make that decision.

Read the Bible – Joshua 7-8, Eccl. 4:7-16, &John 7.

Don’t forget that today is the day to choose your eternity!

set your sights on the realities of heaven,

where Christ sits in the place of honor

at God’s right hand.”
