Friday

“My aim is to evangelize where Christ has not been named,

so that I will not build on someone else’s foundation, but, as it is written:

‘Those who were not told about Him will see,

and those who have not heard will understand.’”

~Romans 15:20-21~

What a moving night we had in the cabin last night!  If you missed it, mark your calendar for the third Thursday next month.

Please add the Arnold family from Watson to the Prayer Link. This is a family from our school. Mike Arnold has been in ICU at the Lake since Sunday night. He has a bleeding stroke. Decisions have to possibly be made tomorrow regarding life support. His wife is Dena and his children are Katelyn, 7th grade and Seth, 5th grade. These are such sweet people and they are praying for a miracle.
Also we are hosting a fundraiser for Jadon Pailet on Saturday in Walker. Part of the fundraiser will be a silent auction. We will be posting items tomorrow night on Facebook. Bidding will begin and go through noon Saturday. Check the event Jadon’s Jems for more info.

From Compassion Net

A missionary recently wrote, “We often encounter many people here who have desperate needs. Recently we came across a family with a 15-month-old boy who is believed to have HIV, which he contracted at one of the local hospitals. It is hard to know how to care for and show love to these people who have no eternal hope. Please pray that we will be able to love them and serve their physical needs adequately, as well as share the hope they can have in Jesus. Also pray for them to have open hearts in their times of deep need.”

“Still, if you set your heart on God and reach out to him,

If you scrub your hands of sin and refuse to entertain evil in your home,

You’ll be able to face the world unashamed and keep a firm grip on life, guiltless and fearless.

You’ll forget your troubles; they’ll be like old, faded photographs.”

~Job 11:13-16 MSG~
