Sunday Afternoon

Deana Simmons was headed to McComb to get her mother, Mrs. Robert Pots, from Southwest and to bring her south.  She has been cleared to come home.

Please don’t forget to pray for the Blackwells today.

We are all creatures of habit.  At church this morning, Philip Dykes‘ place at the end of “our” pew was left empty.  His “absence” was certainly felt.  This was not planned, but seemed to be an act of honor for someone who was faithfully present at church.  Please take some time today to pray for his family.

Saturday

The Word became a human being and,

full of grace and truth,

lived among us.

We saw his glory,

the glory which he received as the Father’s only Son.

~John 1:14 (TEV)~

Sherry Rosamond requests more prayers for Lillie (Bit) Harris who is still sick.

John Blackwell requests continued prayers for his grandparents, John Alan and Mary Alice Blackwell.

I am so happy to report that Jadon Pailet has now gone nine months since surgery without a single seizure.  That is a big change from pre-surgery.  Thank God for parents who made such a difficult decision and for medical experts who knew how to encourage parents to make the decision that would be so life-changing.
