Wednesday – Early Afternoon

First, I forgot to mention that Mrs. Susie Wales is coming home today.  She’s very excited to be home.  She and her family thank you for your prayers, cards, and visits.  She plans to work hard to get back to the way she was before the first hip surgery.  Chris and Kathy encourage you to call or visit her.

Great news: Austin Rose attended school today.  It was his first day of 11th grade.  Thank God for this huge step and pray he will be able to have a good junior year.

Wednesday Morning

“It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer;

And while they are still speaking, I will hear.”

Pray for Kathy Jo Thompson, of Folsom,  who is having problems that seem to indicate a brain tumor.   She will bee going to a hospital for testing.  She asks for prayer as she undergoes test and for her parents.

     I know that has happened to me.  We always need to remember that God is in control and sees the whole picture.  As a matter of fact, He                plans it that way.

Tuesday Addition

Two new topics for prayer. (Suggested by Mary Alice Fox)

  • Pray for our local, state, and national leaders that they may make wise Godly decisions.
  • Also pray for our pastors as they lead us in worship.  May they always lead us in a way that is directed by God’s word telling us what God would have us hear rather than what we want to hear.

Thanks Mary Alice.  Those needed to be included.  I was typing “from the top of my head”.
