Monday

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you,

for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly

about my weaknesses,

so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

That is why, for Christ’s sake,

I delight in weaknesses,

in insults,

in hardships,

in persecutions,

in difficulties.

For when I am weak, then I am strong.

No change. Kidneys a little worse. They seem satisfied with the new device. Slight improvements in some areas. No change in others. Nothing really to report. He is fragile. Keep praying!!

Please continue to intervene in Ken’s behave and strength for the family.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

He did well with the placement of Impella which is a temporary VAD. Balloon pump coming out.
This was done in an effort to improve or maximize his cardiac output bc his kidneys are starting to take a hit. It remains much of the same….

He has all this amazing technology now and expert care…. We need prayers more than ever!!!! Gods will be done!!! The selfish part of all of us is wanting so desperately for him to turn than corner and hear some positive news!!! Praying for Kens miracle!!!!!!

Dan Turner

Great news everybody! Today, I successfully completed the medical trial and met criteria to have the intrathecal Baclofen (ITB) pump surgically implanted. I am scheduled to see the neurosurgeon that will perform my surgery on 8/31. The surgery will be scheduled when I see him. It’s pretty cool—it’s the same neurosurgeon that helped keep me alive during my 3-week ICU stay at UMC. His name is Dr. Shiflett and he earned my respect and admiration while seeing his meticulous attention to detail when we worked together, during my helicopter years at UMC. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support over the past few weeks. We can mark this one down as, “prayers answered”.Great news everybody! Mansell Stinson

Mansell still doesn’t know when his leg will have the balloons re-inflated/replaced to give him better circulation.  Please pray for him as he continues to wait for a date.

Betty Taylor

Betty continues to have several health issues, knee, eye, etc.  Please keep her in your prayers.
