fixing our eyes on Jesus,
the author and perfecter of faith,
who for the joy set before Him endured the cross,
despising the shame,

H. Wayne “Sonny” Clark
“God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered, “Come to Me;” With tearful eyes we watched you slowly fade away, and though we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, your hard working hands stopped to rest, God broke our hears to prove to us he only takes the best. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.” Author unknown. Wednesday Afternoon
I’m so glad I’m a senior adult and got to go to the Senior Adult Revival this week. We were in Grangeville this morning. That beautiful little church was backed with men standing across the back. Once again, we had a glorious time of worship. We were led by a talented local group, Andy Taylor, and Jacob Williams. I’m already looking forward to next year. I hope you will plan to attend if you missed the services today.
Lillian Russell learned she had a pre-cancerous growth that was found in time because of the procedure she had done this week. Let’s thank God for her good report and for all the preventive health services we have available to us now.
I was asked to announce that the annual Fall Fest at Osyka will be October 5th and 6th. On Sunday, October 6th, there will be local gospel entertainment from 1:00 – 5:00 P.M.
Tuesday Night
I thought I would remind you about the participants in the last day of the Senior Adult Revival in Grangeville tomorrow. Music will be led by Andy Taylor. Jacob “Bro. Jake” Williams will preach. A good time will be had by all!
