Please pray for our friend, Chris Primes of Amite.

It is with tons of prayers, guidance by the best Dr around and much research on my on that I have decided to go forward with the knee replacement on my left leg. This won’t be a standard knee replacement as they are going to screw rods in the bones to anchor the knee replacement to. This, despite being more invasive and painful, has a higher success rate. As this is my only leg left, obviously I am extremely worried. However, I’ve given it over to God and will do my best to not worry or question my decision. I tell you all this because I know I have some super prayer warriors out there. I need you guys now! For those that stuck with this post till the end, thank you and God Bless! Please keep Renee Renee Bennett Primes and Chris Primes and Allison Primes in your prayers too as they worry too. The bottom line is I can’t live my life out of a medicine bottle and the pain is too great to not do this.

Estelle Raborn is back in North Oaks.  Please pray for this lady and her extended family.  If you have the opportunity to see her at North Oaks, ask for Mary Raborn.

Read the Bible – II Samuel 13-15 and Psalm 90

If you have been reading the Bible according to the plan I post each day, you will have read 25% of the Bible so far.  We are on our 10th book of the Old Testament.  We have also read about 33% of Psalms.  Best of all, we are learning so much.  I find I can always learn more, even if the passage seems very familiar.  You can always pick up the reading where we are OR go back to Genesis and start there.

He was despised and rejected by mankind,

a man of suffering,

and familiar with pain.

Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised,

and we held him in low esteem.

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering,

yet we considered him punished by God,

stricken by him,

and afflicted.
