Saturday

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus,

the author and perfecter of our faith,

who for the joy set before him endured the cross,

scorning its shame,

and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

~Hebrews 12:2~

Sammy Broyles
I saw Sheila yesterday.  She said Sammy is in physical therapy now which will, hopefully, maintain the movement he has.  Pray for all the family as they continue to “travel this road”.

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh.

Is there anything too hard for Me?”

~Jeremiah 32:27, NKJV~

Macy Gueldner, Mary Catherine Gueldner. & Martha P. Drago

Macy’s counts are very low, during a week where they should’ve doubled. I guess the increase in chemo finally caught up to her. So, her chemo this week is on hold. They’ll check again next week, and hopefully she can get back on track. She’s in good spirits; she just doesn’t have much immunity. So we’re hoping to stay germ free.As for me (Mary Catherine, Macy’s mom), my doctor ordered an MRI of my entire spine. He’s afraid I have ruptured a disc underneath my fusion. He said, “You are a tiny person, and Macy is not so tiny.” We’re both hoping that my lower back problem is just temporary. We’ll see…I have some good news: my mother in law (Martha) has only 4 radiation treatments before the end of her cancer journey 🙂

Thursday

“I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere,

lifting up holy hands,

without wrath and doubting.”

~1Timothy 2:8, NKJV~

The bigger the issue, the bigger the need for prayers.

Koltyn Gafford

Wish I could put a GoPro camera on Koltyn to show you guys just how much he is rolling back and forth and how his hands and feet are everywhere. (Written by his mother, Kristin)

God continues to hear the prayers for this child and is honoring then.

Jimmy Schwartz

Ruby asks for pray for Jimmy who is having problems related to diabetes.  As you pray for him, please also pray for her.

Darin Fontz

After several months of chemo and lots of answered prayers, my brother Darin will have major surgery in the morning to remove the cancer. We are so thankful for all the prayers that have been lifted up for him and his family. I am asking all my Fb family and friends to please pray for his surgery, the doctors, and a complete healing for him!! Thanks so much! (Written by Jill Brister, Darin’s sister, but the request  from the entire extended family.

Monday

“Command those who are rich in this present age

not to be haughty,

nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God,

who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

Let them do good,

that they be rich in good works,

ready to give,

willing to share,

storing up for themselves a good foundation

for the time to come,

that they may lay hold on eternal life.”

~I Timothy 6:17-19~

Friday

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you,

then choose for yourselves this day

whom you will serve,

whether the gods your forefathers served

beyond the River, o

r the gods of the Amorites,

in whose land you are living.

But as for me and my household,

we will serve the LORD.”

~Joshua 24:15~

Nathan Daniels

Please continue to pray for Nathan this week as he deals with the aftereffects of his surgery.  I know he and his family will appreciate your prayers.

James Rimes

James is now back at home.  He and his family are also very appreciative of your prayers.

VBS Continues

This must be a very special time for children of our area as many of them attend another VBS.  Neither I or my children ever did this, but I know many children who do.  The best part is that a number of churches are reporting record breaking attendance!  Attendance is necessary for young lives to be changed through VBS.  Some area churches have not had their VBS yet, but will in the next month.  If you have children or grandchildren, “keep your ears open”!

Ladies’ Night – The highlight of our “F.R.O.G.” meeting last night was the testimonies shared and the special music by Bubba Roberts.  We now have a new acrostic:

A – At

T – Trying

T – To

F – Fully

R – Rely

O – On

G – God

None of us are 100% yet, so let’s keep striving to F.R.O.G.

which is created in God’s likeness

and reveals itself in the true life

that is upright and holy.”

“Lil Man” Santangello

Update from Megan: “Hey everyone! Today we met with Lil Man’s neuro oncologist and radiation oncologist to go over his MRI. The MRI scan looked great! The doctors were amazed at how well he is doing when a month ago he couldn’t even walk. He responded wonderfully to the chemo and radiation that he completed on May 22nd! He will follow-up in August with another MRI. But until then, he will continue with oral chemotherapy and his IV Avastin (IV chemo). He will now be getting the IV Avastin every three weeks instead every 2 weeks!! All the glory be to God, for without him Lil Man would not healing like he is!! Thank you for all the prayers, love, and support! Keep the prayers coming, God hears them! We love you! ” Megan

The attendance report is that there are more children than they have had in a long time!  Yeah!   That means more children who hear “the greatest news/message of all times”!
