Please pray for Mrs. Annie Bell Harrell and her family.  

Pray for Karen Miller’s family as her mother begins her first cancer treatment Wednesday.  Pray she has regained enough strength from her recent surgery to do well with the treatment.  Pray for Karen who is spending this time with her mother.

Margie Williams had to take her daughter, Annette, to the hospital in McComb.  She was admitted, but her problem is not fully diagnosed at this time.  I know they will appreciate your prayers.

Please continue to pray for Mr. Al Trecost and Mr. Lynwood Browning, both of whom are hospitalized at North Oaks.

The pathology report was good today.  The cancer is a type that responds to treatment better than the one in the original diagnosis.  Also, it is listed as stage three, now, not stage four.  Continue to pray for the whole family.

Sheila had surgery today at M.D. Anderson.  She and Rex are very pleased with their treatment there and the reports they have received.   Rex is Larissa’s cousin.

Yvonne’s foot is better, so the boot was removed from her foot.  Pray she can stay healthy.

Johnnie “Lil Man” Santangello

“Lil Man” is recovering nicely from his brain surgery – talking, laughing, eating, etc.  His latest MRI shows no tumor in his brain, but he will need additional treatment (radiation and chemo) because of the likelihood the tumor will return.  Pray for the family’s strength and endurance for the “long haul”.  The family is thankful to God and to all the people who have provided encouragement.

(June 7, 1964 – March 28, 2014)

Christopher Brian Easley, 49 years old, born in Clinton, LA and a resident of St. Helena Parish all of his life died on Friday, March 28, 2014. Christopher was a faithful and loving husband and step-father. He was a faithful member of Cornerstone Church of Amite fulfilling many duties as an elder and in his ministry of helps. He worked at Plaquemine Point Ship Yard for over 20 years. Loving the job that was set before him, he was known to always have a smile that would make you smile in return. The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers for strength during this time. For Christopher has found his, walking with the Lord Jesus and the smiles continue! He is survived by his wife of 22 years and 10 months, Geralyn R. Easley, Greensburg; brother, David Easley, Jr. and wife, Vera “Minnie” Easley, Greensburg; sister, Patricia Bergeron and husband, Ricky Bergeron, Elmer, LA; numerous step-children in Iowa, Nebraska, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews in Kentwood, Greensburg, Elmer and Mississippi and Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, David Taylor “D.T.” Easley and Ola Mae Smith Easley. Visitation at Cornerstone Church, Amite, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, and from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Services conducted by Rev. Mervin Strother.
