Yesterday, the stent went well for Mr. Pat Hoosier to open a blocked duct.  Cancer was found in the pancreas.  This allows the doctors to pay attention to an area that had been undetected up to this point.  The girls are now asking for prayer for their mother who will see a doctor about scheduling surgery on her hands.  She put their daddy first, but now it is time for her to get some needed attention.

Yesterday morning, the senior adult revival at Line Creek Baptist Church was wonderful.   Music, preaching, fellowship, and food – what a great way for Christians from all over Two Rivers Association to gather together!  Tomorrow, the revival will be at Roseland.

Another association meeting was held at 1:00 Monday afternoon at  East Fork.  The WMU heard from Kay Bennett who works on our behalf in New Orleans.  Her ministry has taken on a lot of new responsibility working to help stop human trafficking.  We learned so much!  Our hearts were touched by the stories she told of people who had been helped.

Missions – Don’t forget to collect usable children’s shoes, school uniforms, jackets, and blankets for those who might need them.  Place your donations inside the main or office entrances to FBC,K.  I will make another delivery to Re-Store soon.

The Fall Food  Round-Up for the La. Baptist Children’s Home is Monday, the 16th.  Call the church if you need to know what items they need the most.

Pray for Bobby Drude and his family.  He is facing heart by-pass surgery.

You have one more week to get food to your local Baptist church in our area for the Fall Food Round-Up for the La. Baptist Children’s Home.  Remember the 16th.  I previously posted a list of their needs, so look back on The Prayer Link to see what they need the most.

Remember, to continue to bring children’s shoes and school uniforms to the church.  I will organize your deliveries and take them to Re-Store which in located between Cooper’s Bakery and Boston Restaurant in Amite.  We will be collecting blankets and jackets next, if you would like to get an early start on sorting through things at home.

If you would like to being anything for the family that had a fire and lost everything last week, please refer to the list I posted earlier or a list at the church at the office entrance.
