(In honor of those from Spring Creek who trusted God with their lives last night! –

The best message a mama can get is when her child tells her that she just got saved tonight at church camp.)

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.

The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

~2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT~

We are thankful for the rain, almost two inches, we received Saturday afternoon.  God’s timing is always right!

Austin Rose  – Life has changed so much for this family in just a few days.  Isn’t it comforting to know God hasn’t changed?

Update on Austin … He had surgery this morning to put in a temporary vascular catheter. Used it to start dialysis tonight. Tomorrow he starts a week long chemo treatment followed by another week of more intense chemo. He then gets a week break before next round. If he is doing well he may get to go home for a few days. One day at a time though. Steve and I are absolutely amazed and in awe of how many prayers are being said for him. We have a tough journey ahead so please keep praying for a complete healing. And in my prayers I will thank GOD for each one of you!!

“The Lord was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way,

and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light,

that they might travel by day and by night.”

Mrs. Janie Wise spoke at the WMU meeting at New Zion sharing about Camp Tall Timbers.

“We give thanks to You, God;

we give thanks to You, for Your name is near.

People tell about Your wonderful works.”

~Psalm 75:1~

Most of us need to improve our attitude of thankfulness.

Millicent (Millie) has made a marvelous recovery from her condition a couple weeks ago.  She is home!  Her family is so thankful.

Connor Corkern is still home.  Pray for him as he deals with his seizure problem and other issues.

Rafe Cutrer is sporting a special chair.  Thank God he has this chair.  Pray for Rafe, Raymond, and Brandy as they also deal with a family life that involves therapy and other things that will help him.

Continue to pray for Robbie Lynn C. Kirby.  She has a number of health issues.

Pray for her dad, Robert, as he has surgery Monday.

Shelton Day is continuing to improve from his heart surgery.

Third Thursday Meeting – at our cabin tonight at 6:30.  Join us!

God blesses David and me with so many Christian friends, some new to our lives and some who have been our friends for many years.  We value each one.  Thank you for being a part of our lives,

Anna Lee

Wednesday

“Again, I assure you:

If two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for,

it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.”

~Matthew 18:19~

Thank God for the life of George Beverly Shea.  He gave his all to God and to Billy Graham for more than 60 years.  He is one of my heroes, but he didn’t live his life to be a hero, but a servant to God.  He was greatly talented and extremely humble.  Instead of singing with a crusade choir behind him, he now has a choir of angels!  I’m so thankful for the life he lived and the sacrifices he and his family made so he could serve out Lord!

I heard some good news last night.  Reesa B. DeLee is making some “baby steps” of improvement.  Her mother said Reesa’s body may soon be “waking up” in areas that have been asleep since surgery last November.  Let’s continue to pray for Reesa.

Mr. Philip Harrell has an issue with his eye that he will have checked on.  “Miss” Annie Belle has breathing issues.  Please keep them in your prayers.

Mrs. Shirley Frazier is about the same.  Keep praying for her.

Continue to pray for Beverly “Doodle” W. Watson and her family.

Another mother of former students is hospitalized and not doing well.  Pray for the Seymour family, formerly of Amite.

Continue to pray for all those affected by the bombing in Boston.  Pray lives will be drawn closed to God because of this tragedy!

Pray for Kathy Jo Thompson as she sees an ENT doctor.  She has been having headaches, ear problems, dizziness, etc,  Pray this is something that can be easily taken care of.  Thank God for this young woman who has already been through so much.

Nancy Carruth got a good report yesterday.  Thank God for this.

The first thing he said when he walked in the door was you are going to be fine. She does have a fatty liver and her lipids were slightly elevated as was her AMA. She will go back in two weeks for a liver biopsy to determine if and what her treatment will be. All other blood work fine. She does not have cancer or cirrhosis of the liver. Praise God!  (JoEllen Carruth)
This is the week of the monthly meeting at the cabin – the “third Thursday”.  We hope to see you here at 6:30.  Call if you need more information or directions.
