Johnnie “Lil Man” Santangelo

Yesterday’s surgery helped already.  Johnnie has a big appetite.  His mother, Cheryl, has cooked his requested food regularly.  Keep praying for this family.

Devotional, Scripture, and Hymn for Today

“Left Side of the Road”

“A furious squall came up,

and the waves broke over the boat,

so that it was nearly swamped.

Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion.

The disciples woke Him and said to Him,

‘Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?’

He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Peace! Be still!’

Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.”

Friday

I’m going to post this tonight in case the weather is bad in the morning.  If it isn’t, I’ll add to this post in the morning.

     “Come to me,

all you who are weary and burdened,

and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,

for I am gentle and humble in heart,

and you will find rest for your souls.

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

~Matthew 11:28-30~

Johnnie “Lil Man” Santangello

The pathology report was good today.  The cancer is a type that responds to treatment better than the one in the original diagnosis.  Also, it is listed as stage three, now, not stage four.  Continue to pray for the whole family.

Sheila Sharkey (Mrs. Rex Sharkey)

Sheila had surgery today at M.D. Anderson.  She and Rex are very pleased with their treatment there and the reports they have received.   Rex is Larissa’s cousin.

how much more will your Father in heaven

give good things to those who ask Him!”
