Carol Jean Conerly received very good news yesterday.  She did not cause any injury to her new knee when she fell Sunday.  Thank God for that!

Please pray for Carol Jean Conerly.  She had an incident with a dog that caused her to fall and injure her new knee.

Pray for a 10 year old, Lizzie, who had a spider bite and has been in ICU.  Yesterday, the medicine seems to have “kicked-in”.  She is improving now.

Another request is for Steve who does not live in our area, who lost his sister.  Sometimes in life, losses like this seem to come too close together.

Pray for the families and friends of the three young people who had an accident on the Line Creek Road yesterday.  I’ll leave it at that until I find an official report to link you to.

Shelly Ann Dominique peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the age of 60. Beloved daughter of Louis C. Dominique and the late Nollie Yuratich Dominique. Beloved sister of David Dominique (Deborah) and the late Gary Dominique. Loving Aunt of Stephanie Legendre, Heather Holland, Nikole Maikell, Traci Holley, Jeremy Dominique and Don Dominique. Great-Aunt of Lani Legendre, Kari Legendre, Liam Legendre, Luke Legendre, Kadi Legendre, Cort Legendre, Hailey Holland, Jacob Holley, Carter Holley, Mckenzie Holley, Ashton Hurt and Riddick Dominique. Shelly was a lifelong resident of Buras. She attended Shelly’s Petals School as well as Compassionate Hearts in Magnolia, Mississippi. We had a good night.  Despite the fact that we have been meeting about then years, we were able last night to have someone come who has never been before.  We also had people from eight different churches, which I find so amazing each month.  Our next gathering will be July 20th.

The “Cete” Dillons are home!  “Miss” Ruby has come a long way in a week and a half.  Thank God for her progress.

Pray for Linda K. Graves of the East For community and Mandeville.  She will not be able to sing for us at the cabin tonight.  We’ll miss her.  Pray she has a good day.

Pray for Carol Jean Conerly as she undergoes some medical tests.

Pray for Bobbie Magee as she continues to improve.  Cards and phone calls would also be appreciated.

Andy and Betty Taylor are both improving.  Please keep praying for them.

Rylin Wilkinson, great-grandson of Lea Smith, is doing well.  He was able to sit in a wheelchair.  Pray he continues to quickly recover from his “deer” accident.

Mrs. Ruby Dillon will be at North Oaks for a few more days.  Please keep praying for her. Mr. “Cete’s” cold is much better.

Please continue to pray for Rod Smith.  Frank and Mary Alice Fox gave us a good update on him.  He and his family, including Jeremy who has kidney stones, need your prayers.

Pray for Debbie WIlkinson as she has a new evaluation at M.D. Anderson today and receives results tomorrow.

Mt. Nebo’s pastor and his family had a difficult day Saturday.  Bro. Randol Camardelle’s brother passed away and his wife’s mother broke her femur.

We lost a kind, gentle neighbor this week.

Camellia May Corkern – 6 lb. 14 oz. and 21 in. long; born yesterday afternoon, 5-9-17.  Her parents are Wesley and Kara Sellers Corkern.

 

Ruby Dillon continues to need out prayers.  She’s at North Oaks, Room 4418.

Tish Fairburn learned yesterday that she had another spot that will need to be checked out.  Her sister, Sandy, requests we pray for her.

Just when we thought Andy and Betty Taylor have had every health issue imaginable, we learn that Betty has pneumonia.  She’s at home.  Please pray.

Ryan “Rufus” Williams will be doing physical therapy today.  Please pray all goes well.

Lillie Strickland fell and broke both ones in an arm yesterday after her gym recital.  They are properly set now.  Pray for Lillie as she continues her busy little life with a temporary handicap.

Carol Jean Conerly made it to the worship service at church last night.  It was good to see her walking and back in God’s house.

Ryan “Rufus” Williams was released from ICU at Tuoro yesterday.  He needs our prayers for recovery from his recent stroke.

The Bible Drill class for children who will be K-5 next school year will meet at 6:00 tonight at FBC, Kentwood.
