Tuesday

Be strong and of a good courage,

fear not, nor be afraid of them:

for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee;

he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

~Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV)~

(I don’t know why I was drawn to this verse today,

but it surely was “just the one” some of us needed to focus on today.)

Macy Gueldner – As you pray for those at the hospital, pray also for those back in our area who cannot be there for Macy, her sister, and her mother.

“The Light of the Lamb” – http://odb.org/2014/06/17/the-light-of-the-lamb/

for the glory of God illuminated it.

The Lamb is its light.

~Revelation 21:23~

“The Light of the World is Jesus”  –  http://cyberhymnal.org/htm/l/w/lworldij.htm

(Be sure to read what led Dr. Earl Taylor to write this song.)

Spread some of that “Light” today.

Monday

 “O Lord, you have searched me and you know me.

 You know when I sit and when I rise;

you perceive my thoughts from afar.

You discern my going out and my lying down;

you are familiar with all my ways…

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,

too lofty for me to attain.”

~Psalm 139:1-3,6~

I will add to this this evening.  Have a great day!

You have a choice of hearing this song on three different instruments.  You may want to hear it three times, once on each instrument.  By then, you surely should get the message of the words!

Help someone else who needs the message of this devotional, Scriptures. and song.

If you have not purchased your jars of jelly or jam for God’s Storehouse, this might be a good day to do so.  Drop them in the area by the stairway for the FBC, Kentwood stairway.  A label will be applied before delivery.  It will provide a wonderful message, John 4:16.
