SUNDAY

Prayer Focus

Today, let’s pray for Sunday School classes in all of our area churches today. Pray for the teachers and for the learners. I pray the teachers are well prepared and the learners are prepared to listen and learn. Also pray for the children who made decisions during VBS this past week.

“God’s Truth” – Psalm 119:1-16

I pray you will be in attendance somewhere this morning. I find that no matter how many years you have attended Sunday School, you can always learn something new. Today, the lesson teaches me about the divisions of Psalm 119 that I don’t remember learning before. Did you learn something new?

I suggest you go to the site listed here (https://www.easyenglish.bible/bible/easy/psalm/119/ to read today’s Scripture from another translation. I think you will learn something new!

Generous for God’s Glory

“Dear Father, It is you, my God, who supplies seed for the sower and bread for food. Multiply my resources and increase the harvest of righteousness…..”

2 Corinthians 8:10-15

God gives us the ability to be generous with our resources. Thank Him for opportunities He provides.

Here’s one more to focus on today:

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21

Don’t forget!

Pray for church services in various churches today and for those who made decisions in VBS last week. This prayer can continue all summer as churches will provide many opportunities during the summer months for their children.

Have a wonderful Lord’s Day.
