Rev. A.W. O’Quinn, Sr.
August 17, 1935 – June 2, 2025
A resident of Pine Grove, LA, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, LA surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 17, 1935 in Lena, LA and was 89 years of age. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Jerry Lynn Cook and husband, Terry and Wanda Gayle Ellis and husband, James; 2 sons, David Paul O’Quinn and wife, Brenda and A.W. “Buddy” O’Quinn, Jr. and wife, Sherry; bonus daughter, RaeJean Tubre and husband, Shane; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Maureen George and Margaret O’Quinn; numerous nieces and nephews; and his church family. Preceded in death by his parents, Wilkerson and Myrtle O’Quinn; the love of his life, his wife, Sharon Linda Love O’Quinn; brother, Joseph Lendle O’Quinn, Sr.; sisters, Clovice Howell and Sevella Hill. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 and from 8:00AM until Religious Services at 10:00AM at Victory Temple of Greensburg 14425 LA Hwy 37 Greensburg, LA on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
