Prayer Focus

Today let’s say a prayer of Thanksgiving for the American prisoners who have been freed lately from countries where they have been held . Let’s also pray for those who are still held in several countries around the world.

Daily Bible Reading

  • February 12
  • Acts 1-3
  • We have now read four books of the Bible.
  • If you are not up-to-date, read some extra chapters until you are caught up. It’s not as important what day you read certain chapters as it is that you read them.

Operation Christmas Child

We are beginning to collect the items relate to going to school. We already have some items. These are the some items we will need:

  • Pencil Bags
  • Markers
  • Calculators
  • Glue Sticks
  • Pencils (Sharpened ones are great!)
  • Lined Paper

You can leave your donations in the green tote in the downstairs hallway.

Thank-you for helping us reach out to 450 10-14 year-old boys this year. You will be helping them feel God’s love through the Shoeboxes.

Prayer List

Today, let’s pray for those who are hospitalized or living in nursing homes. We each could make a different list, so just list and pray for those you know.

Prayer Meeting Tonight

Plan to be in church to study God’s Word. It is very important that children and youth are in attendance too. It’s never too early in life to be in God’s House and to hear the Bible’s message on an appropriate age level.

I trust you have a local church to attend, one you are already familiar with. If not, I invite you to FBC, Kentwood to study and learn with us. We meet at 6 P.M.

May the Lord bless you and yours today!
