Prayer Focus

Let’s pray for our country and it’s leaders. Pray for our people who are hurting because of storms, fires, drought, accidents, long-time illnesses, etc.

Today, we want to focus some of our prayers on Sherry Simpson, David Sellers, Velma Anthony, and Eddie Keith Schwartz. As you pray for them, please also pray for their families. We also want to continue to pray for the families of those who have recently lost loved ones: Kathey Dunn, Dennis Walker, Chris Primes, and others.

Wedding

We attended the wedding of a grandson, Braden, at the beautiful, old Frost Chapel on the campus of Berry College in Rome, Georgia over the weekend. He and his bride, Virginia, were in band and the same class back during their high school days. They seem to make a wonderful, Christian couple.

Special Thanks

For the second time, I called upon Laurie Miller to teach my Sunday School class. Thanks for filling in and doing a good job.

Weather

I am ready for spring weather, but think winter is hanging around for a while. Be sure to check on others who are not well-prepared for the next cold days we are facing soon.

May we live a life that honors God today and work hard to show love to everyone we meet.
