Prayer Focus Today
Making a profession of faith is difficult for many people because of all the people who will see them. That doesn’t make it easy for some people. Today, let’s pray for many adults in our churches to be bold and brave so they can step-out in faith and gain the greatest gift possible – a heavenly home, an eternity with Jesus, and the best friend forever, Jesus. Let’s also pray for a good support system for each one so they can grow as a Christian in their church.

Operation Christmas Child
Today, let’s pray for all the volunteers in our churches, the logistic people who get the boxes to the right destination, the neighborhood/village Christians who will work with/teach the children about Jesus, for children who will receive a box of wonderful items, and most importantly, the children and their families as they learn about Jesus.
On average eight people will be saved per shoebox. That means the boxes we ship this year will potentially be instrumental in 3,600+ people being saved! 3,600!!! That’s seems like a great return on our efforts.
Pray for the Women and Girls on Mission at FBC, Kentwood
We will have our first monthly mission trip Saturday morning. Pray it will be well received. I’ll give you an update later.
Those Often Overlooked
We tend to overlook some people as they serve in our churches. Today, I ask you to pray for the ladies who prepare food, serve, and clean up and straighten the fellowship hall as they serve the families at the time of a funeral for a family member.
These ladies contact others, prepare food, serve, and clean up in such a gracious and loving manner. Families are both touched and blessed. May we all learn to serve others, not thinking about ourselves.
I’m glad you checked in today.
