The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Good Morning. It’s the Lord’s Day!
I trust you are up and preparing to spend a portion of His day in His house.
Prayer Focus for Today
Let’s pray for all the many Christian gatherings that will occur today in our area, in our state, in our country, and all around the world. Due to the various time zones, some areas have already had their morning worship. Let’s pray that those who attend/have attended services know God or find Him today. What a day of rejoicing it would be!
Busy Schedule Today
Our church, FBS, Kentwood, will have a busy schedule for both adults and children today. Briefly, it goes like this.
- 9:15 – Sunday School for all ages in many different classrooms. Come early to find a classroom and to visit with other classmates.
- 10:30 – Morning Worship (Nursery provided)
- 3:00 – Bridal shower for Hope Brister in the fellowship hall.
- 4:00 – Women on Mission and school age girls in and near the New Hope classroom.
- 5:00 – Fifth Sunday Singing at Spring Creek Baptist Church (Refreshments provided).
- I think the regular children’s musical practice will be omitted tonight, but check with a leader to be sure.
Surgery Tomorrow
Robert Wilson will have surgery in the morning. I will post the time tomorrow.
It’ seems like there is another surgery tomorrow morning, but I seem to have forgotten who else will have surgery tomorrow.. Remind me ir that is you, your family member, or friend.

Please feel free to join the meeting in the New Hope classroom (south end of L-wing) today at 4:00.
Missions class provided for girls in a nearby location. Come and see the new room! It’s never too late to join in.
Operation Christmas Child
We are making good progress in preparing for the packing of shoeboxes. GOOD NEWS: The shipping fee has been reduced to $10.00 per box. That saves our church $4,500 allowing us to spend the money on other items. Your donations can be turned in during the morning offering. Be sure to mark your envelope “OCC” or “Shoeboxes”.
Baptist Press
Have a great Lord’s Day! You will be blessed.
