Born on December 6, 1949, in Osyka, Mississippi, Bill leaves behind a legacy marked by valor, faith, and devotion to his family.A proud veteran, Bill served the United States Army for 26 years, starting in Vietnam demonstrating unwavering courage and commitment to his country. He was once quoted saying ” If my country says fight, I fight. I’d go back tomorrow if that’s what I was told. I’m proud of our flag and I appreciate the way of life we have in America,” He was a respected figure among his peers, known for his strategic acumen and leadership.Bill was deeply religious, actively involved in Line Creek Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Kentwood. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and interactions. Bill was always ready to serve and uplift those around him, embodying the teachings of Christ Jesus.Bill cherished his time with his family above all, creating lasting memories with every moment spent together.Bill is survived by his loving wife, Linda Frazier; children, William Frazier Jr. and Julie Frazier; grandson, Dylan Frazier; brother, Craig Frazier wife Carol ; aswell as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Dewitt Frazier and Margaret Carruth Frazier, and his siblings, Marshall Larry Frazier and Lorena Frazier Byrd.A burial service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 10:45 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Veterans Funeral Service in Houston, Texas, 

2024 Fall Food Round-Up

The La. Baptist Children’s Home will be collecting food in our area in one month. There is a long list of items they need at this time. There is also a list of the items they need the most. I choose to send these items, so those are the ones I will share. If you want to see the whole list, you can get a paper from FBC, Kentwood or check their website.
