SATURDAY

If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”

Genesis 4:7

Prayer Focus

Today, let’s focus our prayers on out area church services for tomorrow and on services world wide too. Especially pray for pastors as they finalize the messages for tomorrow.

Much attention has been given to the two individual who were killed in the boating accident Sunday. That’s good, but please also pray for the other people who were involved in the accident and the numerous others who were involved in the rescue operation. Pray for all these people today and in the coming days.

Women and Girls on Mission

FBC Kentwood will be organizing a group with a missions focus. It will be for women of all ages and for school age girls. Meeting will be on weekends, so school will not be an issue for the girls and also for the ladies who have a regular forty hour job. Please sign the list on the table in the entry to the sanctuary. Our focus will be on various ways to serve, to learn about opportunities to tell others about Jesus, and how we can minister to various groups in our community, our state, and our country and world. Be sure to sign the list tomorrow.

Today is a day of preparation for the Lord’s Day. I was taught to polish my shoes, iron my dress, study my lesson, help Momma in the kitchen, etc. In other words, to do all I could to make Sunday trouble and stress free while being prepared as much as possible.

Thank-you for praying today. Pass this link on to a friend or two. Thank-you!
