Today, let’s pray for all the teachers who will soon be returning to their schools for a new school year and new students. Pray they had some refreshing times and also some times to begin thinking ahead to a new school year with new students this summer.

Operation Christmas Child
At the associational WMU meeting Saturday, I was able to hear ladies. from other churches talk about their plans and progress for this Shoebox year. It is very encouraging to know others also value this opportunity to have a part in “telling” so many children about Jesus again this year. Jesus, not the material possessions, is the focus of this ministry. I am so blessed to be a part of sharing Jesus in this way every year. The items that go into the box are very helpful and greatly appreciated, but at not the main point. Jesus is the focus. For that, I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity.
