THURSDAY

What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.

1 Corinthians 2:12

Great Days Can be Tiring

Sometimes we focus on how wonderful a day was without realizing how tiring it was. It may be best to follow a great day with a day of rest or a partial day of rest. Try it. It may be helpful to the rest of your week.

Prayer Focus

Today, let’s focus our prayers on our high school, trade school, and college graduates. Let’s pray they know where the next step in life will lead them. If not, let’s pray they know individuals who can/will lead them in the right direction. Best of all, let’s pray they know Jesus and will allow Him to guide their way in life.

Read the Bible Every Day

  • May 23
  • I Samuel 17: 1-58
  • Psalm 65:1-8
  • Proverbs 14:10-12
  • John 6:1-21

Have a great Thursday! Spend enough time inside to not be worn out by the high temperatures of the day. If you see someone who is overdoing it, give them a bottle of water or offer your car or house as a place to cool off for a while. In other words, help take care of your “neighbor” this summer.
