MONDAY

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Acts 4:31

What a great service at church yesterday morning.

The title of the message was “The Gospel” and was based on Romans 15:15-20. Aaron DeBlanc played a spirited offertory, “Wonderful Grace of Jesus”. I could listen to him playing that song and others all day long. Sawyer Dehu was baptized at the beginning of our worship time yesterday morning.

What a fun night with church family at the ballpark!

Our church family welcomes summer this way each year. I’ve been to two and will look forward to going again next year. Everything was very well planned. So many people did so much work to make everything ran smoothly. (All David and I did was show up.) Being with church family, even outside the church, is great! There were so many children there. David tells me Rachel Buckley did a good job of taking and posting pictures on facebook.

Senior Recognition

Sixteen high school, trade school, and college graduates were recognized yesterday morning. Fourteen were able to be present. What a blessing it is to have all these young people in our church! Our church is proud of them!

Senior Adult Monthly Lunch

Wednesday, our senior adults will travel to Middendorf’s to eat. We will leave the church at 10:00 A.M. either on a church van or in personal vehicles, your choice. Judy Fowler does an excellent job of organizing these outings.

Please continue to pray for Kathy Wales and her family. The Pine Ridge Bible study lunch scheduled for this week has been postponed.

Have a marvelous Monday!
