See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
Isaiah 43:19
Prayer Focus
Today, let’s focus our prayers on thanking God for no loss of life in LA and on recovery from the big storm that came through here yesterday. It did some damage in our area, but not like the damage other areas had. Pray for people in those areas. Pray for members of Louisiana Baptist DisasterTeamsand teams from other states who will be busy helping people clean up from the storm, rebuilding, and replacing in areas where there was so much damage.
Thank God for Disaster Relief and those who volunteer through it to help with work needed and to minister to those in the area. Thank God for those who contribute to Disaster Relief. Do you remember that Bro. Gibby McMillan was the first leader of this group? Do you remember that Bro. Stan Statham, who was our former missions director in Two Rivers Baptist Association, is the leader of our LA Baptist Disaster Relief now?
