TUESDAY

But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.

“God Winks”

“God Winks” are instances when God does something for us that we could not have done for ourselves. He protects us or does something that is very good for us. People often shrug these events off as luck. I like to recognize them as reminders that God loves me and is watching over me.

Instead of being amazed with the good luck you have, look to God and thank Him.. He is letting you know He is there and working in our lives when we are not expecting Him ro show up.

Examples of “God Winks” that could happen in your life.

  • You receive a check you didn’t expect just when you need some extra money for an emergency.
  • You get a flat tire on a rainy day and two young men you know stop to help you.
  • You are the only one in your family who remains healthy despite everyone else coming down with food poisoning. You ate the some foods as the others, but just didn’t get sick. You are able to purchase medicine and care for the others.
  • You get lost while driving.. Just as you pull into a service station in a less than desirable area a police car pulls in next to you. The police woman tells you to follow her to the correct highway.

Look for the “God Winks” in your life. Thank God for them. Know He is watching over you and is helping you despite the circumstances we get ourselves into. He has let me know He was watching over me in the last few days.
