Henry ‘Porter’ Crayton
January 6, 1951 – October 15, 2023

Henry Porter Crayton born on January 6th, 1951, passed away on October 15, 2023 at the age of 72 years old at his home.
Preceded in death by his parents, Linnie and Elmore Crayton, sister Dorothy Hudson, brother in laws Joe and Ronnie, and great granddaughter Sydney.
Porter leaves behind his beloved wife Barbara; Children Karen (David) Janusa, Michelle (Mike) Moss, Trey (Ashley) Wesley, Justin (Brandi) Wesley; Grandchildren Ashley (Richard) Hubbard, Hunter (Dara) Hughes, Danica (Ryan) Ciresi, Haley (Logan) Bankston, Molly (Adam) Poche, Lainey (Jordan) Wesley, Karlie (Jacob) Varnado, Brandon Wesley, Annalise Wesley, Dylan Wesley, Madelyn Wesley; Great grandchildren Riley, Paisleigh, Carson, Kinsley, Rhett, Presley, Nathan, Prailynn, Grayson, River, Landon, Penelope, Jamison, Hadley, Garrett, Paxton and Walker; Brothers Luke (Cindy) Crayton, Fonzia (Bonnie) Crayton, Allen (Jean) Crayton; Sisters Mildred (Andrew) Correnti, Brenda Giaconi, Veronica (Roy) Bankston and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Porter passed away doing what he loved. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at New Hope Baptist Church, 34921 Hwy 43, Independence, LA on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Woodhaven Baptist Church Cemetery in Albany.
