With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
~2 Thessalonians 1:11-12~

I want to share a little about my church.
Children’s Area
Have you seen the new children’s area which was designed just for our children? The children love it. The location is upstairs and connects to our sanctuary with a hallway.
Children’s Messages
This special time in “Big Church” just before going to “Children’s Church” is designed just for children and delivered by some youth and adults who really love to minister to children I must say the adults listen carefully and frequently smile. Then, the children move to Children’s Church for more specially designed lessons. If you have children and are interested in bringing your children, come sit it and see for yourself.
Youth
Our youth have their own building, the Lighthouse. It formerly served as the post office for the town. A team of young adults works with them every Sunday morning, Sunday evening, Wednesday evening, and numerous special times. If you have any questions, contact the youth minister by calling the church office.
Changing Gears to Senior Adults
Our senior adults will be traveling to Hammond on Wednesday, October 18 to enjoy lunch at Murphy’s and to enjoy a good time with each other. The church van will leave the church at 10:30. You can also travel by personal car if you have additional plans while in Hammond. Call the church office if you have questions. Sign up to attend so Murphy’s will had the table set-up for us.
There are a number of adult Sunday School classes. Let me take a guess at how many – at least 11! I’m sure that if you are interested, you could find a class that suits you.
…………….
These are three of the groups we have at church. I hope you enjoyed hearing a little about them. If you need additional information, contact the church office.
We can all be thankful for our churches and the classes and activities they offer. The classes are such a good way to study the Bible and to get involved in a small group.
Thank you for reading and for getting to know my church a little better.
