Today, let’s pray for the people faced with an option to have or not have surgery. There are so many things to consider. Deciding is often hard.

Evelyn Jean Woodard Glenn

January 12, 1929 – October 3, 2023

Evelyn Jean Woodard Glenn, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the age of 94 years of age at 8:15 in the morning. She lived in many states in her lifetime, but her last move was from Picayune, MS to Amite, Louisiana in 2002 to be closer to her oldest daughter and family. She is survived by Her sister Mary Hellered, brother Bill Woodard and half-siblings Dorothy Marie Evans and Occie Gilliam Jr. Her 4 children Norma ‘Genevie’ Munch, Paula Gynell Trosclair, Johnny Knox Glenn and his wife, Michele, and Lonnie William Glenn. 10 grandchildren and some of their spouses Robert Munch Jr (Katrina), Normajean Ploof (Dennis), Julius ‘Scotty’ Scott (Monette), Paula Scott, Julie Sparnecht (Ray), Brandon Scott, Nicole Glenn Bienvenu, Daniel Glenn, and step grand-daughter. Windy Muller (Mark) and grandson, Timothy Scott, who preceded her in death. 13 Great-Grandchildren and some of their spouses Mindy Munch Schexnaydre (Josh), Matthew Kolb, Jewel Munch (Lauren), Joshua Scott (Victoria), Jake Hanson, Kayla Scott, Gabriel Sparnecht, Abigail Dillion (Hayden), Gage Scott, Brittney Phares (Wade), Whittney and Laila Munch and a great-grandson, Chris Hanson, who preceded her in death. 9 Great-Great Grandchildren Jaxon and Hazel Schexnaydre, Hadleigh and Kohen Munch, Braylon Scott, Axel Scott, Silas and Oakley Phares and Vivianne Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Glenn of 61 years, her parents Mary Magdalene Graves Woodard and William Huey Woodard, sister. Jewel Yowell, son-in-laws, Robert Munch Sr and Wade Trosclair, grandson Timothy Scott, and great-grandson Chris Hanson. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 10:00AM until religious services at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Interment Shady Grove Cemetery, Amite, LA.
