We are thankful Hurricane Laura missed our area for the most part, but realize other people will be greatly influenced by the weather in the next few days.  Pray for safety for the people.  Also, pray for individual preparations and wise decision making.

The Covid-19 virus has impacted people in various ways.  A number of people are trying to work long-delayed surgeries in at area hospitals  Pray all will be done in God’s perfect timing.

Pray for those who are pretty-well homebound because of the virus.  It’s been almost six months for us.  Withdrawal from the normal activities of our lives causes major changes.  We have two people here, but pray especially hard for individuals who are alone.  Days can be long between mail, phone calls ,and visits.

Please pray for all the area students up through college age who are beginning another year of school.  Pray for good health and wise choices for each person.  Pray for teachers who are facing job changes or retirement due to Covid-19.
