“Let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us.”

~Hebrews 12:1 TLB~

The youth from our church will attend the yearly YEC, Youth Evangelism Conference, Sunday – Monday.  Pray for them as they travel.  Also, pray the conference touches many hearts and changes lives.

Operation Christmas Child continues.  FBC, Kentwood collected 103 shoeboxes late yesterday.  Saturday, the hours are 10-12, Noon.  Sunday’s hours are 4-6 P.M.  If you have boxes to turn in,  please do so Saturday or Sunday, rather than waiting for Monday.  Pray for the children who will receive a shoebox.  Thank God for the many lives that will be changed.  Thank God for each person who was involved in the shoeboxes in any way, the money invested in packing the shoeboxes, and the time that was spent creating or purchasing items for the shoeboxes.  Use every opportunity God gives you to share about the shoeboxes.  It is one of the ways we are missionaries.  Remember, Matthew 28: 19-20 tells us to do to things, GO and TELL.

Thankfulness, Day 23 – Today, I’m thankful for time.  I get 24 hours each day to spend as I desire.  My time also has responsibilities.  I’m thankful for the time I have to live and pray I have pleased/continue to please God with the way I spent this precious time He gave/gives me.  Some people refer to our lives as the dash between the year of our birth and the year of our death.  It’s up to us to make “our dash” count for Him.  It’s the most important engraving on our headstones!
