Pray for little Jules Tankesley who had to be airlifted to Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. She is doing much better now. Pray for Jules and her parents, KerriBeth and Jamie.
Thanks to those who helped with the shoeboxes this week. The shoebox schedule for this week is Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00 P.M.and Saturday at 8 A.M. We are progressing in getting enough shoeboxes ready for all the children we will be packing for this year. Help us bring a smile to their faces. We meet in the fellowship hall to paint. Thanks to the ladies who helped this week.
We are collecting money to help with the postage. It costs $9.00 per shoebox to get each one to their destination. You can mark your check “OCC Postage”. Thanks for your help.
Georgia Barnette Offering for Louisiana Missions: We are collecting funds to help people in Louisiana have an opportunity to learn about Jesus. I know we want those around us to have opportunities to have Jesus in their hearts and lives.

If you have items to send because of the flooding in Texas they must be turned in first thing in the morning so the can get to Bro. Stan in time for the next trip. Remember, they will only be taking the four items they requested – diapers, feminine hygiene products, paper towels, and Gatorade and other sports drinks. We have disaster relief workers on the ground and working in Texas.
Monday, the “Young” Ladies’ Birthday Party will meet at The Cafe at 11:00. All ladies are invited to join in with them.
Sunday School begins at 9:15 and worship begins at 10:30 at FBC, Kentwood. We invite you to join us if you are not attending another church. We have classes for every age group. We also provide a nursery, have children’s church, and other things that may interest you.
