Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.

Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,

Allen Stewart had skin grafts from burn injuries and was released from the hospital yesterday.  Pray for him as he heals.   We all know burns are painful.

Update on Mike Yarborough:

Prayers are Powerful! ! ! The cauterizing of the ulcer seems to be holding. Mike’s blood count is up and he’s been moved out of ICU. Hoping for a discharge today or tomorrow. I’ll be flying up there Monday morning for a week hoping to keep him from over doing it when he does get home. Thanking all of you for your prayers and concerns. I’m forever grateful. Also say a prayer for me as I’m be on that plane.

If you are able, gather with others in God’s house today.  If you cannot do that, listen and watch as God’s Work is shared on television.  There are several reputable pastors to choose from.  On a local level, Kentwood, First Baptist Church’s service is broadcast live at 10:30 on their Facebook page.  You are invited to join them or other local churches this morning.  I’m so thankful we can be a part of our church during this time of David’s illness.  Of course, being in your church is always best.
