Joshua ” Fat Cat” H. Pierre
November 03, 1976 – January 24, 2019
Joshua “Fat Cat” Harrison Pierre, a resident of Loranger, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his home. He was born November 3, 1976 in Independence and was 42 years of age. He was a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church and had passion for 18 wheelers and trucking. He is survived by his wife, Mandy Miller Pierre; 2 sons, Steven and Caleb; parents, William and Gloria Pierre; and a sister, Rebecca Pierre. Preceded in death by grandparents, Nace Harrison Pierre, Gertrude Ard Pierre, Howard Spears, and Berta Moore Spears. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019. February 4, 1973 – January 23, 2019
And a resident of Franklinton died early Wednesday morning January 23, 2019 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was a former resident of Amite during his younger years and attended Amite High School. Joe worked in the retail grocery business for many years. He formerly lived in Texas and later lived in Kentucky, where he worked at the Ford Motor Company assembly plant, before moving back to Louisiana and settling in Lake Charles for several years. Joe had recently moved to Franklinton to be nearer to his family. He loved fishing and always enjoyed hanging out with his friends while camping on a river bank or just spending all day at any good fishing hole.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Alice Danielle Ardillo, father Floyd J. Ardillo, Sr., step-mother Judy A. Holden, grandparents Bill and Rena Lambert, Floyd and Pearl Ardillo, uncle Randy Bailey, aunt Lois Bailey.
A memorial service for family and friends will be planned at a later date.
