[Ask, Seek, Knock]

“Ask and it will be given to you;

seek and you will find;

knock and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks receives;

the one who seeks finds;

and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

~Matthew 7:7-8 (NIV)~

Eleanor Morris‘ hip surgery went well yesterday.  Pray for her as she begins to walk today.

Frances Gay will have her knee procedure early this morning.  Pray all goes well for her too.

David, Jason, and I had a long, interesting day at Ochsner.  It seems his diagnosis has changed because of a problem David had last week.  We see a specialist Monday.  I think our “picture” will be clearer then.  Until then, please continue to pray.

Read the Bible – January 22

  • Psalm 34: 103
  • Psalm 108: 1-3

Don’t forget the soup collection for Hope Center.  You can leave your contribution on the organ.  The collection process will continue until “Souper” Bowl Sunday.  This is a project of Youth on Mission!

Sunday morning at 8:00, the Pine Ridge Methodist Church ladies will serve breakfast food for their monthly breakfast.  The meal is always very good.  You have plenty of time to get to church there or elsewhere.

The “Young” Ladies’ Birthday Party will be at 11:00 this morning at the Burger Basket in Osyka.  Join in the fun if you can.
