11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Today, I ask for continued prayers for the Strickland family. The flu situation is better, thankfully. Phillip is home and recovering from his surgery. Phillip’s dad, Mike, fell and broke some bones in his neck. He’s hospitalized in Jackson, MS now. Sometimes, like can present some difficult times. Please pray the Stricklands through this one, please.
Miss Fay Shoemaker will be moving to Atlanta. A going-away reception for her will be Tuesday, January 2 at 3 P.M. in the fellowship hall of FBC, Kentwood. Everyone is invited to attend.
